Uno, dos, tres... catorce!

was in the vicinity of regent street on friday when U2 sprung a surprise visit on us, performing for free at the top of the BBC building.

the traffic was closed, and there were mad fans all round while they performed a couple of their past hits such as “get on your boots” and “beautiful day” to promote their upcoming album.

london really is one big awesome gig land! we’ve already had killers, all american rejects, jason mraz, kaiser chiefs, keane, muse, hoobastank and DCFC recently, more than a couple of them at the very famous royal albert hall, which just happens to be right next to my hall. snow patrol will be performing at the 02 arena over this weekend, and james morrison and stereophonics are both playing at the royal albert hall the following sunday. girls aloud, pink, beyonce, jonas brothers, britneys spears, razorlight, nickelback, depeche mode, and mcfly all have upcoming sets too over the next few weeks, eat your hearts out! hahahaha.

fingers crossed for one republic!
